Nighthawk Custom’s FM Series match grade hammer is Fully Machined™ from a premium-grade 416 stainless steel billet and then hardened to hold precise dimensions and withstand many thousands of rounds without wear. This hammer was designed exclusively for Nighthawk Custom by noted 1911 pistolsmith Bob Marvel, with precision-cut hooks and pinhole to ensure a correct fit. A large, oval cutout in the spur keeps weight to a minimum, and crisp serrations prevent slippage when cocking or uncocking. The engagement surface is ready for final grinding and polishing to ensure a clean, reliable let-off.
