Improve cycling, spring life and overall operation with the best of both worlds-the long lasting flat-wire spring and a precision machined full length guide rod.
The Flat Wire Full Length Guide Rod and plug replaces your stock recoil spring guide and plug on full size bushing barrel 1911’s without any pistol modifications. Assembly and disassembly are the same as with stock components but a bushing wrench may be required. The hardened stainless steel rod has a hole for simple pin-style takedown using a small nail or bent paperclip.

Note: We recommend using a #22 or #22P Barrel Bushing Wrench with this product.
*For use with flat wire recoil springs only-not appropriate for standard round wire springs.
