Description

Wilson Combat 1911 magazine.  Stainless Steel body. First Design 47NX, 10mm 9rd.  Confirmed to hold 9 rounds of 10mm.  See pics.  Their first design was interesting in that only one side seam was used, and was done at the 38 Super depth.  I contacted Wilson Combat and confirmed this is indeed correct.  The mag is designed to be used for 10mm and “longer length loaded” 40 S&W.  Reading the forums, I’ve also heard of shooters loving this mag for nicely handling 10 rounds of 38 Super.  It does fit that, but your level of feeding success may vary with it.  9mm is no go, as its a combo of too short and narrow.  This is why some 40 S&W is a workable option and success has been reported with 38 Super.  Once I knew what these were, I wanted them perfect.  To finish these mags, I installed new 47B basepads, which are unique to this mag, the FX, and SX and spent time polishing with a chamois cloth.   The existing pads were good, but long ago went to other mags until I got around to figuring these ones out.  Long been out of production, but these look barely used. Springs fantastic as are the polymer followers. All the ones I have look just like the pic.
